On April 26th the Township hosted a highway clean-up project, in conjunction with “The PA Clean-up” program. The day was a real success, thanks to the help of residents and Boy Scout Troop #41. Approximately 42 bags of trash and 20 tires were removed from the township roadways.
On March 31st, Supervisors Richard Staib, John Ottaviano and Highway foreman Jerome Bower attended an “Asphalt Road Maintenance Program” offered by PennDot.
In June, the township took delivery of its new highway unit. A 2014 Dodge 2500 series four wheel drive pick-up truck. This vehicle will also be equipped with a new plow and salt spreader.
